About MetaClean
Last updated: 23 October 2026
MetaClean is the team behind Image Cleaner, a small web tool for people who create images and videos with Google Gemini and Veo. We built it for designers, agencies, creators and marketing teams who tell their clients and audiences that something is AI-generated and who just want a clean, tidy file to deliver.
What the tool does
- Removes the visible Gemini sparkle from images, and the Veo sparkle from every frame of a video (up to 60 seconds and 1080p).
- Removes hidden file data: EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, colour profiles, text notes and content-credential markers from images, and tags and chapters from videos.
- Shows a before and after list of what was removed, and checks that the cleaned file carries none of it.
- Keeps your files private to your account. Results are deleted after one hour and originals are not kept. See the privacy policy.
What the tool does not do, and will not do
- It does not remove SynthID, the invisible watermark Google puts inside the pictures of its AI tools. We do not offer it and we will not build it. Read why.
- It does not remove other logos, signatures, copyright marks or text overlays.
- It does not hide that an image or video is AI-generated. Our terms ask every user to tell clients and audiences, and to follow the rules of the tool and platform they use.
How we test it
We care about results you can check, so we test with real material and publish what we find, including the limits.
- Images: demo pictures where we know what was under the logo, so the cleaned corner can be compared with the real one. See the image guide.
- Videos: five real Google Veo videos at 720p, in landscape and portrait. We measure how much of the sparkle is left in every clip, and we check that sound, size, frame rate and colours stay the same. The table is in the video guide.
- The app: hundreds of automated checks of limits, plans, payments, privacy and file handling run before every release, plus checks in a real browser on a desktop and a phone size.
Results differ from picture to picture. We say so on every page, and we ask you to look at the result before you deliver it.
Plans and payments
There is a free plan and paid plans from ₹199 for 30 days, with images and videos in the same plan. Pay by UPI, card or netbanking in India (secured by Razorpay) or by PayPal from outside India. Plans do not renew by themselves. See the pricing and the refund policy.
